Last week I had a rough day that reminded me that it’s okay when you make mistakes, you just have to learn from them.
I was replacing an ignition switch and didn’t think to leave the harness unplugged until I got the switch installed, and consequently blew the 50 amp ignition fuse when the bare positive wire connection touched the steering column. That ended up adding a while to the job as I waited for a new fuse to arrive. Later that day I realized you don’t have to take out the entire rear interior of a Civic to replace the 3rd brake light assembly, when I was halfway done taking out the entire interior. Now I know what not to do, and that’s all that really matters.
