Another car came in for a complaint of an unusual noise. I drove it around the parking lot and clearly heard a clunking from the rear when going over bumps. When I put it on my lift it took longer than it should’ve to find the problem.

The left rear caliper didn’t have any bolts holding it in, left off by whoever last serviced the brakes. This allowed it to move around when going over bumps, but thankfully it never came completely off. I was able to find some replacement bolts and sent the customer on their way.
