I’m not a big fan of cars that have had dogs in them. They often smell or have hair everywhere, or have nose smudges on the windows. I haven’t often seen damage caused by dogs, though.
On this car, however, I had to replace both rear outside seat belts because the customer’s dog had chewed on them. Each one cost somewhere around $300, so this was not cheap. Hopefully the dog doesn’t do it again.
