Talk to any mechanic and they can tell you about times it was hard to do a repair because the people who designed the car didn’t make it easy to get to a bolt or part. I’ve made a few posts about it myself.
But I was glad to find on a Honda CR-V I was working on that there was actually a hole in the subframe just so I could stick a socket on an extension through to reach a bolt on the exhaust pipe. It would’ve been a lot harder if I hadn’t been able to do that.
