One of the unavoidable parts of being a mechanic is getting banged up. A wrench slips, you bash a knuckle, cut your finger, or get scraped up or burned reaching into a tight space.

The problem is that a regular bandaid just won’t stay on. Reaching around tight areas can get it ripped off, or just getting sweaty from working can make it fall off really quickly, so something is needed to hold it on, and I’ve found that electrical tape works great.

It doesn’t loosen quickly from sweat, and can hold all day long. Isn’t fun to pull off, but it’s better than your cut or burn getting rubbed against all of kinds of dirty car parts.
