Working on cars often involved squeezing your hands and arms into tight spots. That also means getting tools into those areas, and sometimes they get can get stuck in awkward positions.

The tech next to me was working on replacing a front axle, and had to use his air hammer to get the axle carrier bearing out of the bracket. It was going fine until it got completely wedged between the transmission and exhaust. The hammer bit was also stuck inside the bearing, so even without being stuck against the transmission, it was hard to pull out. After some pushing and pulling with prybars, he was able to get the air hammer out.
