I was given a quick job, a car just needed a new headlight. I pulled out the old bulb, and found something a little odd.
The bulb glass was completely gone, but the filament was still there, although burned out. The glass or remnants of glass weren’t in the headlight housing, so I don’t know what happened to it. I don’t know if someone had tried to replace the bulb and broke it, but if they had then I doubt they would’ve brought it to the dealership to get it replaced.
