In a recent post I showed what duct tape does to paint on a car. It’s also not a good idea to use inside your car.
This car probably had something like a GPS in it and they taped the power cord to the dash using duct tape. Besides not looking good, it wasn’t a good idea cause it left residue all over the trim when it was removed. While the interior of a car may not be exposed to rain, snow, and wind like the exterior, it’s subjected to much higher heat in the summer, which probably has more bad effects on the tape’s adhesive.
