I was doing some work on a Honda Ridgeline when the front bumper caught my eye.

It wasn’t enough for them to just patch the hole in the bumper with duct tape, but they decided to try to make it blend in with a little spray paint. Unfortunately, the color of the paint on the vehicle is an odd blue-grey, not easily matched with paint, so their patch stands out a bit. I think that just plain grey duct tape might look better than what they ended up with.
