Taking a little break from the usual Thursday post, because it’s Thanksgiving here, and I just wanted to write a little post about some things I’m thankful for.
I’m thankful that I found a career I liked. There’s no way I could stand an office job. I’m thankful that I don’t have to move away from home to get a job as a mechanic, there’s no shortage anywhere.

I’m thankful that cars aren’t going to be going away anytime soon, so there’s a good bit of career security. I’m thankful that I have a big toolbox full of tools with no money owed; my parents have helped a lot and I’m very thankful for that.
I’m also thankful that I have my own car, even with all the problems it has. I’m sure it sounds weird to non-car guys, but it’s the most beautiful thing I own, rust included.
Have a good thanksgiving, everybody.
