The repair order said something along the lines of “customer states frame is broken”. As it was being pulled into the bay I looked underneath and saw that, yes, the frame is broken.

Not the clearest picture, but that part of the frame that sticks down for the suspension to attach to was completely broken off of the frame.

I think this was a 90’s 4Runner. One other time we had a ’95 come in that needed $3000 of work, and the owner said yes. And after all that work was done, it was given to me to do an oil change because he didn’t realize he wanted one until then.
